Today is the first day of June.
Which means we're officially HALFWAY through 2018.
And when I think back on the last year and half, I am just so humbled and GRATEFUL.
Throughout the hardships of the last year and a half I don't think I would have made it without this blog as a positive, creative outlet. Without a place to share my photos with the world.
If you had asked me in June 2016 what I most wanted to shoot for the blog, I would have answered 'TRAVEL' in a heartbeat. I love traveling the world and experiencing new cultures (I was an international relations major in college, after all!).
And, as fate would have it, my wishes have come true in so many amazing, fulfilling, and once-in-a-lifetime ways.
From our family trip to London in September 2017 to chasing the Northern Lights in the Arctic Circle of Finland to racing ATVs through the magical city of Izamal in Mexico to attending my first New York Fashion Week to touring a real parmigiano-reggiano cheese factory in Italy, I have been BEYOND lucky to experience such incredible adventures and share them here with you.
So before I start thinking about what I want the second half of 2018 to look like, I want to step back and reflect one more time on the travel portfolio I was lucky enough to build last year...
