Are you sick of seeing green and striped outfits from me this month?
Because the saga continues today…
After my last two green and striped looks (Look One & Look Two) you’d think I’d be over it. Especially since I’ve already worn today’s pants with today’s purse (without the scarf embellishment) before.
But this combination seems to be my go-to lately. An “aesthetic du jour” I’ve been using as a formula to help me pull chic outfits together in a hurry.
Something green + something striped = hitting the road in ten minutes.
But — going back to that marvelous Carolina Herrara quote at the beginning of this post — I’m not sure what this outfit formula “projects” about me to the world.
Stripes and green? Ha, it must be some sort of subconscious hold-over from my years in trading — I’m dressing like a money-hungry banker with a wild streak!
But either way I’m loving the formula and suspect you’ll be seeing plenty more green and striped outfits from me in the coming months. As long as the combination continues to inspire me, that is!
