Last week Chicago was hit with its first Arctic Blast, bringing with it our first snow.
But since I was in Florida with my husband helping care for my grandmother, we were in sandals and tanks when we found out.

Now that we’re back home in Chicago, the temperatures seem to be rising again (mercifully!) but we all know what’s undoubtedly coming… winter.
So before the frost settles in, I wanted to share just one last look with my favorite pair of Valentino sandals before I wrap them up into storage for the winter (or at least until a winter vacation somewhere warm).
This whole look epitomizes my fall weekend style — an easy (stretchy!) sweater dress, these easy walking sandals (or my new Stuart Weitzman boots if the temps are chilly), and this never-fail MCM backpack which converts to a tote OR backpack, depending on my needs.
It’s an easy look I wear regularly this time of year!
