The Ultimate 2017 Gift Guide
TRAVELER
For the world traveler in your life, why not gift a cozy chic cashmere shawl (it doubles as a blanket on the plane!), the perfect power adapter, or this timeless black carry-on (I always prefer to travel with only a carry-on!).
FOODIE
For all the food obsessed, food junkies, restaurant critics, amateur gourmands, and wannabe chefs on your list why not gift the Publican cookbook (one of the best cookbooks I’ve ever bought from one of my favorite restaurants), the world’s most photogenic teapot (all Chicago foodies are obsessed with the Soho House afternoon tea), or — if you really wanna go BIG — why not just invest a whole wheel of fresh parmigiano reggiano (takes me back to touring a parmigiano reggiano factory in Italy!).
BEAUTY JUNKIE
For the beauty junkie in your life who just can’t get enough sparkle and shimmer, why not gift a blow dryer that promises miracles, one of the coolest shampoos to ever be developed (it’s actually a paste but works like MAGIC), or my favorite La Prairie cream (it works like botox for the face — I’ve been using it for a month now and have been extremely impressed with the results!).
BLOGGER
For the bloggers and/or photographers (or anyone with a creative bent and a desire to document), why not gift a killer camera (been using my D750 for YEARS!), the perfect go-everywhere shoot-everything lens, a massive power bank so they never run out of battery on-the-go, or why not get them started on Youtube (I finally took the plunge this year!) and gift them with their own GoPro!
TECHIE
For the tech-obsessed, opt for a throwback with a Nintendo Switch (this may or may not be on my wishlist too…), their very own quadcopter, or a smartphone tech kit for their stocking!
LUXE LOVER
