“There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship, smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re saying…“
— Pink Floyd, “Comfortably Numb”

Before I start sharing some of the amazing experiences I had in Italy this past week, I wanted to first share one of my last looks for New York Fashion Week (NYFW).
You’ll recognize these trousers from our shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge — they’ve quickly become one of my favorite wardrobe investments and offered so much versatility for NYFW looks. Despite being somewhat ‘formal’, pairing them with a casual tee and my MCM backpack made for the perfect Saturday morning brunch outfit. And an incredibly comfortable look to wear exploring Soho after!
I love how easy it is to dress them up or down, depending on my mood. Since I travel only with a carry-on (even to NYFW! Watch our video for proof), I love bringing pieces like this that I can transform depending on the activity!
P.s. I know that Pink Floyd’s ‘Comfortably Numb’ technically is from the album The Wall but I chose the song quote despite my Dark Side shirt because it felt so appropriate for the setting.
