Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about booking a trip to Europe.
Last year in September our family went to London for my sister’s 27th birthday. It was our first time abroad together and we had a ridiculously good time romping around Westminster Abbey, pressing the Champagne button at Bob Bob Ricard, and gorging on huge piled plates of fish and chips at Golden Union.
So when my family asked what I wanted to do for my 30th birthday (t-minus 3 months and counting! It seriously feels like just last week that I was celebrating my 29th birthday), the first and only thing that came to mind was traveling back to Europe together. Travel is undoubtedly the only thing in life you can spend money on that makes you richer and with my travel-loving father no longer with us, I find myself even more eager to build more travel memories with the tiny family I have left.
But where?
In the end I’ve narrowed it down to four possibilities: London (again and always!), Amsterdam (my favorite city in Europe thus far), the Greek Isles, or a trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
Since my birthday is in August, I tried to think of spots that have good weather, good food, and plenty of opportunities for us to make lasting memories.
So today’s outfit is inspired by all the research I’ve been doing on Italy lately. I’ve never been but have always had it at the top of my must-visit list — have any of you visited? Any recommendations or thoughts?
It’s been so hard to choose where I’d like to go for this trip so I figured throwing together an outfit or two inspired by my destinations would help!
