Last Saturday night I attended the Junior Council’s 29th Snowball, an annual ball held every winter in support of #FortheKids to raise money for the Pediatric and Adolescent HIV and AIDS programs of The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
This year the event was held at the Field Museum with over 2,300 attendees! It was massive!
Ali of Those White Walls, Olivia of Olivia Rink, and Lauren of Lakeshore Lady all joined me as well as my gorgeous sister for the evening. Now being style bloggers we couldn’t resist the opportunity to get REALLY dolled up for the event.
Don’t you just love Ali’s Rachel Allan red number and Olivia’s mermaid-esque Alyce Paris dress? And look at this Rent the Runway number of Lauren’s!The evening proved to be one of the coolest events I’ve ever been to in Chicago.
Ever. The band, Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press, was phenomenal — they played a huge mixture of songs include David Bowie and even a number from Mulan! And the food was absolutely delicious — the scallop ceviche from Tanta was a particular favorite. All in all the event raised over $240,000! Talk about a success #forthekids.I wore this dazzling pink number from Alyce Paris for the night. Isn’t the beading INCREDIBLE?
I honestly felt like a princess in a fairy tale moment!
