I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t love a great maxi dress.
How can you NOT love them?
A great maxi dress is one of those timeless wardrobe chameleons, keeping you beautifully put together regardless of the time of day or the occasion.
Beach days.
Brunch days.
Happy Hour.

And a great floral maxi dress?
Well that trumps them all for me. Especially when it’s this lovely pink dress my mother bought me last Christmas.
I originally intended to wear it for our trip to Mexico but had to have the length hemmed (#petiteproblems) and it wasn’t ready in time for the trip. So while I’ve been spending a significant amount of time down in Florida these past few months caring for my grandmother, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to finally bust out this dress and MAN am I kicking myself for not wearing it sooner.
It’s such a fun piece! Exactly the pick-up I needed these last few weeks. And it has me wishing for spring and warm weather in Chicago badly. But hey, at least I can still wear this dress in the cold as long as I layer some fleece-lined leggings underneath, right?
