When I invested in my first Burberry trench coat this past spring, the timing couldn’t have been more off.
I wanted to wear it EVERYWHERE. So, of course, the weather immediately warmed up just two weeks after I bought it, forcing me to pack it neatly away in my closet barely worn.
How unfair!
It’s called my name all summer, pleading to be let out on an adventure. But the high-humidity and sweltering temperatures made the thought of any coat truly terrifying. And so packed away it stayed…
Until just this last week!
“Coat Season” has arrived and I finally have the chance to bust out this beauty! I’ll be honest, when I bought it, I bought it specifically to wear during the fall season. The colors, classic stripes, and unique raffia weave make this one of those coats that turns just about any look into an outfit. But especially fall outfits with all their warm colors on gloomy days.
And while the yellow and red trees of fall haven’t quite arrived yet, I’ll be ready in my striped trench to greet them when they do!
