You may have noticed that lately I’ve been going through a bit of a metallic accessories phase (ahem, I blame THIS bag for starting it all). I love the strong visual impact metallics have — especially on camera. And while I’m not sure I could pull off a full-length silver gown, I love the fun-yet-neutral POP that metallic accessories bring to just about any look.
So I’ve been on the hunt for a silver tote or a striking pair of flats for AGES.
Now, I always assumed that when I found my own pair of “glass slippers”, they’d probably be Christian Louboutin.
I mean, would the modern day Cinderella wear anything else?
But when I saw these flats for under $40, I ordered them on a whim, not really knowing what to expect. And fell madly in love when they arrived. The simple design is elegant and dramatic while still remaining “office appropriate”.
Looking to add a striking neutral to your wardrobe? Why not invest in a pair of glass slippers or even a rose gold raincoat like my favorite blogger Catherine styled here?
You never know what sort of fairytale glass slippers will take you on, after all!P.s. Many thanks to talented George the Salon stylist Michelle Frost for this stunning blowout! Their services are absolutely spectacular — so luxurious without any pretension!
