I’d be lying if I didn’t say the sunshine Heidi and I shot in for this post was magical.
It filled me with such hope and excitement for spring, especially after all the hardships we’ve had this winter.
And this look couldn’t have been more appropriate for my new-found spring fever, managing to combine three spring wardrobe essentials with three of my favorite spring neutrals: white, blush, and gray.
Honestly, I’ll probably be wearing a reincarnation of this outfit at least twenty times over the coming weeks.
I mean, who doesn’t crave lightness and softness in their spring wardrobe?
It’s something I get REALLY excited about!
I swap out my pairs of black jeans for dresses (combined with over-the-knee boots to ward off any chill). I forgo my darker totes for fresher, brighter ones. And I rely on my trench coat or this incredibly warm gray check jacket to keep me warm. It’s a systematic wardrobe shift practically guaranteed to boost my mood through its optimistic palette and easy-going nature.
White, blush, and gray make such a refreshing palette to build your spring wardrobe around too (I also love navy as a neutral this time of year). Spring neutrals are so easy to mix and match together and yet any combination always looks so calculated, so intentionally chic.
Relying on lighter spring neutrals to carry your look is one of the simplest ways re-energize your look for the warmth and sunshine ahead!
