Of all the dresses I’ve ever modeled for the blog, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten more compliments while shooting an outfit than I did while Anna and I shot this one.
This gorgeous number is one of LK Bennett’s summer pieces and I love the way they evolved the trendy grid-prints by giving it such a pop-art, watercolor effect in bright hues. The pattern is surprisingly flattering, in a really hypnotic way, but still wearable for both day AND night. And the silhouette is nearly identical to the stunning polka dot dress they had in their spring line — it’s the perfect midi length, even for a petite gal like me!
And it has POCKETS! Honestly, do dresses get more perfect than this?
Plus the print means you can wear it with a scrumptious pair of blue suede pumps too!
As far as I’m concerned, summer was made for wearing a traffic-stopping dress like this one — otherwise, where’s the fun?
