Who hasn’t allowed the pressures of pride and of prejudice to cloud their judgement, especially when it comes to love? We can still learn so much from the story of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, even in the digital age.
So when I was thinking of a romantic outfit to wear in honor of Valentine’s Day, nothing seemed more appropriate than this Pride & Prejudice clutch paired with a modest but feminine dress.
I loved the timeless, romantic feel of this dress’ silhouette and the color is more surprising than red or pink. And wearing this P&P clutch always perks up my mood! It reminds me to judge people more slowly, to appreciate my loved ones more deeply and to remember that, in the end, we are all fools in love. Despite how logical or smart we try to be, love can make fools out of even the strongest of us. And even though Pride & Prejudice was published in 1813, very little has actually changed about the ways humans love one another.
