December is here and with it comes the inevitable onslaught of holiday parties and cocktails soirées. And while I love a good party as much as the next girl, sometimes dressing for a party in a hurry can be anxiety inducing! So I’ve made myself a little holiday party uniform of a flirty dress, tailored wool coat, boots (or pumps if weather permits… it won’t) and this little faux-fur stole. For less than $30 I’ve certainly gotten my fair share of wear out of this stole. I’ve paired it with puffer coats, wool coats, leather jackets, oversized sweaters, trenches, and cocktail dresses and I included it in my 5 Versatile Accessories for Fall round-up. Talk about a wardrobe multi-tasker! And for cocktail parties, I find it far more attractive than a pashmina to keep the chills at bay.
Photo credit goes to my dear Katharine who was sweet enough to shout out encouragements as I froze my a** off wearing only my dress in the last few photos. Because as style bloggers… in Chicago… in winter… we need all the encouragement we can get!
