There’s something so powerful about the color red — especially when it comes to red lipstick. Finding the right shade can be tricky but once you do, the charisma you instantly feel each time you wear it is incomparable. No matter how little sleep you had or how over-whelmed you may be with work, when you wear red lipstick, you are ready for anything! It’s like war paint, preparing you to do battle with the world even on those days when you would just rather curl back up in bed. Red is particularly lovely in fall too since it compliments all the incredible color of the changing leaves. #FallWarPaint
This gold bee ring is also very special because it was a rather personal gift from my grandmother. She and I both share a deep interest in all things apiary so she gifted this ring to me after my grandfather had gifted it to her years and years ago. It’s very unique as far as bee rings go since the bee is actually standing on little golden legs on top of the actual ring. Like a ruby-eyed bee just landed on your finger and was forever preserved in a sort of gilded cage. It’s a delicate piece but one of my favorite treasures to mix into my fall wardrobe.
Many thanks to beautiful Katharine for these photos!
